Love this video...in my state we are seeing more and more huge corporate farms and fewer family farms with actual pastureland for animals to graze. Seeing this makes me so happy for both the cows and me.

I wonder if its a US thing, in France the corporate farm are f massive because once the soil is not good enough they reuse them for animals so they can rest. After a while they turn back into field (mostly for corn near me).

I don't see any evidence of what you see in France happening here. The farms have 1,000+ cattle and they are kept in barns and feed lots. No grazing land exists.

I will still be omnivore because im just not interested in and its too expansive. But i think animals should have a happy life before dying, they should be outside running in farms and designated area where they can be themsleves with care. Instead of being locked in tight spaces like in the US.

I am not preachy or mean. I’m trying to show people the truth. I’ve seen the videos you’d never show your kids, the horror episodes from standing outside a slaughterhouse, the REALLY mean and violent behaviour from nonvegans towards vegans and so on. So it’s hard to be all roses and sunshine.

But I have nothing against discussing this topic with people like you, people who show respect. And I’m trying to teach, not preach.

Lab grown meat may be a thing in the not too distant future actually. So you may see a reduction in farming meat and a reduced carbon foot print.

I just can’t understand why people can’t turn away from a taste they can get anyway. But if I have to choose, I’d choose lab meat every day of course. For the animals AND the planet. (Not that I would eat it, but…)

For me everything changed when I stood outside a slaughterhouse and heard them scream.

My son once had a groundskeeper job at one that lasted a week because he couldn't stand the screaming and the smell of blood and death. 😢He came home with such horrific stories. I was already eating less meat, but that flipped a switch in me. Never again. It's cognitive dissonance in most people.

As a very active animal rights activist, my phone is filled of videos from farms where they ”treat their livestock as family”. All lies. They don’t care about the animals. They care about the $.

ARLA, for example, rides like insane on the wave about empathy, caring, ”grassfed”,”free range” and other crap to hide the truth. I’ve witnessed the reality regarding that. It’s all lies!

This was a good doc... Very eye opening on how meat animals of all kinds are treated. It touched on the buzzwords the meat industry uses to try and make people feel better about eating it, but it's all BS. Its been called "vegan propaganda".🙄 It's just the hard truth.

One can love cows and still (occasionally) eat them. Choose small farms that look after their herds, not the awful battery farms that proliferate in the US and are spreading across the world. Same with dairy, though this is much, much, harder.
