yea sometimes! creative notes were more on the supervising animators and my job as a lead was more to help the animators with the technical workflow to hit the notes easily and efficiently! tho i absolutely still had my share of creative input
Ah cool, every studio defines titles differently so it's hard to know what the job expectations are between supervisor and lead, sometimes leads only ever manage other animators and sometimes it's just the title for the most senior animators
kpop was actually the first show where we had a lead/sup split, it used to just be one job and it was the hardest role haha, we kinda were the first to really define how the roles work for us!
