Maybe you've not properly lived till you've covered your own kitchen in sticky liquid at least once 😆 Today's 🤦♀️ moments include burning my palm at 6.40am on the kettle steam as I reached over it to move summat 🥴 And putting a full dark wash on with neither soap powder or softner in the drawers 😩😤
Mum's done it a few times! Recent mishaps knocking a bottle of rose lemonade out of the cupboard( smelled nice but 10/10 sticky) not even sure where it came from🤣🤣 opened cupboard door and a large glass fell out, narrowly missed her head and shattered, she's still finding glass🙄
😂🙈 What the hell is happening to us?!!! I cant believe the things I forget, drop, spill, swipe, smash these days. I'm a clear & present danger to myself and others. I actually check a few times now to see if I've turned the gas hob or oven off after tea or baking coz I dont trust myself!
Mum's always been clumsy but it's off the scale now, not sure if it's menopause, trying to do everything in a rush or impending old age 🤣🤣🤣
I'm praying its the meno as there might be an end to all this nonsense at some point. If its old age i'm knackered already! 😫

About 45 she started having symptoms, 47 full-blown hot sweats etc. She still gets them but not as often along with joint pains and fatigue, brain fog etc....
😖 I got the pre-package of meno goodies delivered for my 50th. And have been adding to the collection ever since. I find the physical stuff pretty rough but cant have hrt due to pre existing, elevated blood clot risk. Oestrogen and/or lack if it has a lot to bloody answer for! 😩
Mum had HRT initially, and then a new GP said it was forbidden due to migraines ( despite the fact they'd improved) she had to go cold turkey, which was hell! No oestrogen is dreadful 🤪🤪

For scale this is what 3 litres looks like on the left. It also doubles as a door stop in the summer 😄 Just glad I didnt buy the even bigger version though.....😜

Exactly! Mum does 10k+ steps a day, eats a healthy ish diet but creaks like an old lady and gets out of puff on hills. The only way she can lose weight is by not eating🙄🙄
