🤣🤣🤣
Thank dogness for that, m was worried how she’d get that passed D 🤣🤣🤣
Just hope it tastes OK with your southern water Billy.🤣 We went to Bath and Mum's tea didn't taste right it had a scum on top as well🫤she's never drunk so little tea🤣🤣
Eugh! Wolverhampton water was rank too. A shiny, slimy and kettle killing liquid 🤢
Ours is very chalky but meant to be good for your bones 😆🐶🐾😘
🤣🤣🤣 Like north wales water that was brown so M drank diet coke all week , it’s not the same as a cuppa for breakfast though 🤣🤣🤣🐶🐾😘
Warm diet coke for brekkie 🤢
Yeah but she wasn’t going to drink the water 🤣🤣🤣
Mum's mum lived in North Wales for a time and the water was OK where they were, near the coast. Must have been somewhere strange🤣🤣
They were staying in a holiday cottage in a place called Trefriw. M was born in Bangor, and m’s brother in law had family living in North wales so they’d all gone up there on hols 🐶🐾😘
Near the woollen mill? Mum's Mum lived in Abergele, Mum loves North Wales 😘🐾🐶
Can’t remember a woollen mill but it was a long time ago. M was born in Bangor, cos her Dad was stationed at RAF Valley on Anglesey. Apart from the water she luved it 🐶🐾😘
😆😆
Probably iron in the water… Many years ago Male human’s ex-boss decided to use the on site well instead of paying the water company… trouble is the water was iron infused and all the sheets and shirts gradually went brown 🤣
Oooh lovely! 😄🤎
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
🤢🤣🤣🤣
That doesn’t sound healthy! Thought it might have come down from the mountains but she wasn’t going to risk it and they were only there for a week 🐶🐾😘
Best not too 😘🐾🐶
👍🐶🐾😘
I don’t live too far from Bath and the tap water is disgusting. Have to filter it to make tea or coffee and I buy bottled water for drinking.
You have our sympathies🤣We had bottled drinking water but usually we use tap water from the campsite for tea and coffee but it was 🤮
D’s sister has just moved to Bath, I’ll get them to take bottles of water with us if we go and visit 👍🐶🐾😘
Good plan! Descaler for the shower head and kettle will also be useful! 🤣
Travel light! 🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣 the amount of kettles and shower heads I’ve got through since living here is ridiculous! 😆
You need a loyalty card for Currys 😄
🤣 I should have done!
*nods* m just buys cheap shower heads now cos they don’t last long and once you’ve descaled a kettle the water never tastes the same 🐶🐾😘
I've only ever descaled an iron and after nearly killing us both with the fumes i've never bothered again! The water isnt magical here, we are under United Utilities afterall, but its not got a slimy film on it like when I lived in Wolves. That made your tongue feel all furry 🤢
Exactly. Same here.
Oh we have the chalk problem here too so we’re used to that 🐶🐾😘
It’s a pain! 🤣
It really is 😂
Well that MC mug would not be allowed in this house full stop! But expect it tastes just the same in a West Ham one ⚒️. M not seen the chewy bars she’ll have to look to see if you can get them down here. Sounds like the snack of dreams though 🤣🤣🤣🐶🐾😘
🤣🤣 Heidi sez you can have in of hers if not 😋 *Disclaimer* - a friend bought us this box for Christmas one year and we mostly gave them away to friends, family & neighbours because our teeth & hearts wouldnt appreciate them all and the risk of acute diabetes was too high 🤪
It’s ok H, M already has Type 1 diabetes 😆😆🐶🐾😘
Best not then Billy! 🙈 That's the unfunny one isnt it? 😒 My grandad had it and wouldnt do his injections properly so my gran was always having to force glucose tablets between his teeth when he collapsed in the street. Stubborn doesnt even begin to cover him! 😖
All types aren’t nice but T1 is an auto immune disorder. If grandad wasn’t having his insulin his blood sugar would be too high so last thing he’d need is glucose, It’s only if blood sugar goes low you need glucose, M prefers Jelly babies! Technology helps these days though 👍 🐶🐾😘
He ended up in hospital numerous times because there was zero advice and little instruction back in the late 70s/early 80s so my poor gran was doing her best while unknowingly making things worse 😩
Defo, m was diagnosed in 1973 but her dad and dad’s sister also had it so at least they knew a bit about it. Must have been very difficult for your gran. Folk still don’t seem to understand it these days. Hang on M the maths doesn’t add up you said you were only 35!!! 🤣🤣🐶🐾😘
🤣🤣🤣 Its ok i'm crap at maths. You can get past my F at GCSE level with any numbers you like Billy! My grandad's wasnt hereditry it came on after the war so no one else in our family had it making it even harder to fathom I suppose 😏 Hope it doesnt stop your mam from having too many things though
M got ungraded in Home economics H, you should have seen her sewing on a button yesterday you would have wept 🤦♀️. Much easier these days with sensors and pumps if you need one. Just have to take each day as it comes 👍🐶🐾😘
H?! I didnt know there was a H 😂😂 I thought after an F you went straight to U for ungraded. Well done your mam then Billy! That's a claim to fame right there then, that 😆 One of my cousin's boys (other side of the family) randomly got type 1 & he's a whizz with his digital medical kit
