I love this so much! This is not crowing over awful loss of these children, but more a statement of the obvious. Actions (voting) have consequences. That the consequences are mostly unintended does not mitigate this disaster. It's always the innocents who pay the price for political wrong-headedness

How is it mocking? When children behave badly, we ask them to sit and think about what they did, and the consequences of their actions. Why is this any different? It doesn't stop these fools from being helped. They've been left to God and good neighbours by Trump.

The American spirit has always been to come together in tragedy regardless. There are plenty of foolish, horrible things going on to use as a point without mocking dead children in a flood.

I understand the rage but save it until after they've accounted for everyone who's missing. Lots of blame to go around. We'll have to wait and see how the investigation goes after this is over.
