Indisputable. At root, though, the Middle East conflicts seem to have more to do with land than with religion. And with the level of animus and history of war, displacement, apartheid, terror, and injustice, reaching peace seems out of reach. Now more than ever.
Couldn't agree more, and then there's the promised land, and ages of history behind the promised land for all parties involved. There are plenty of bad players in the region, and no one group can be blamed for all of the issues that exist.
The bottom line: Everybody, in their own ways, found ways to make it worse. No one moreso than Netanyahu. Many of these long-running regional disputes in today's world have some legacy in the British Empire's colonial days. But that only started the process.
