Thanks, that will be useful. I'm also wondering if there's any examples of grass garden conversions to planting? Even if I'm keeping a mini-meadow I'd feel the need to screen it from neighbours. I don't think we're there yet in terms of just allowing it to grow for very long outside of no mow May

Sometimes mowing a neat border around a wildflower 'lawn' can make all the difference. It makes it look more deliberate and not just abandoned. And if in a year or so you find orchids coming up, you really won't want to cut it!
