artists are so cool. I wish I could draw and I wish it was good. idk it's crazy I have artist mutuals that are actually good. jealousy corrodes tbh so I try not to dwell on it

Good drawing helps but you don’t have to be able to draw perfectly to be an artist. Color and tone matter as much or more, depending. I used grid method and projector early on for airbrush. Grid is time honored method of the masters. Portraits do benefit from accuracy. Time + practice = success.🙏👍

Artist is way of seeing & perceiving also. Form, light, detail/mass. Space/negative space. Many ways of being artist if drawing not your best feature. Sculpting may be your gift, etc. never know. But practice over time improves all. Good drawing practice: draw it upside-down. Right brain kicks in.

Take courses and keep practicing. Draw everything, not just a character you like. Study perspective and lighting. You can do this!
