why did they put cyborg on the new 52 justice league hmm?

I'm pretty it's just because they didn't wanna have a Justice League that was only made up of white heroes and they couldn't use John Stewart since Hal had become the main GL again.

They didn't even give poor Cyborg anything to do. They just had him be a generic tech guy.
