Bernie Sanders advocates for higher taxes on millionaires and most recently 100% tax on individual annual income above $1 billion. He does not label them evil - he attacks the influence they wield in politics and a system that allows such great disparity between rich and poor.

If you bothered to read the article - 1st it’s statements made in 1970 and he’s talking about the number of senators that are millionaires and that it is not a representation of the people. 2nd $1M in 1970 is the equivalent of $35.1M in 2025.
