If you bothered to read the article - 1st it’s statements made in 1970 and he’s talking about the number of senators that are millionaires and that it is not a representation of the people. 2nd $1M in 1970 is the equivalent of $35.1M in 2025.

Bernie Sanders advocates for higher taxes on millionaires and most recently 100% tax on individual annual income above $1 billion. He does not label them evil - he attacks the influence they wield in politics and a system that allows such great disparity between rich and poor.
Also, only 8% of registered Dems support Israel’s war in Gaza. Yes, unfortunately too many elected Congressional Dems still are voting to support Israel and those are the ones that need to be targeted when their seats come up for re-election. The DNC leadership needs to go too.

Well you shouldn’t be so pessimistic. I just researched the data and there are 8.1M registered Dem voters and approx 57% are women. 6.6M Rep 2.8M Indp. In total there are 10M more women registered to vote than men. Granted about 1/3 of GOP women are MAGA but we have time to win over the others.
I haven’t donated money to the DNC since 2016 because of what they did to sabotage Bernie’s campaign. I only donate directly to a candidate’s campaign now. I’ve been inspired by all the new people stepping up. I do plan to get involved in the Dem Party locally to shake things up and make changes.
AOC and Jasmine Crockett would make a powerful team as President and VP with Crockett as the President. Both are fierce advocates for equal rights and would crush anyone in the GOP during a debate.
