My opinion is not fully formed on Buttigieg yet. I still need to do my own research. Based on his 2020 platform as presidential candidate I like him. I have drawbacks about his failures as Mayor to diversify the police and change the Public Safety Board.
So now you’re claiming he’s transphobic. Please point me to where he said that and not from an opinion page but an actual full statement not cherry picked partial comments that are in the middle of a speech he has made or mid comment in an interview where his words are taken out of context.

I read the article along with the same statement posted on The Advocate and he does not say trans people shouldn’t get involved with sports. I question whether people actually read articles or if this is a failure of the education system to teach reading comprehension.
His statements were actually in support of trans rights and Republican politicians using trans people as political pawns. His comments regarding sports participation revolves around ensuring fairness within individual sports and politicians shouldn’t be part of the process.
