Unfortunately the big pharmacy chains cannot administer the new Covid vaccines in some states without a prescription. It is all coming down to which state you live in. Grateful I live in a state where they can administer it without a prescription.

Me too. Doctors can still prescribe. Makes it more difficult but nobody should let that stop them from protecting their health.

Yes, adds needless steps and complications to the system. Especially for people without a PCP. Ugh.

Many urgent care clinics also offer flu vaccines and kids school vaccines. I don't know about covid though. Still people shouldn't let needless extra steps stop them from taking care of themselves. They make these rules only to have control as they're not in the public's best interest.
