It is wild seeing people say, "Shouldn't the mayor be doing (x,y,z) instead of a scavenger hunt???" As if community outreach and community building aren't Mayoral responsibilities. Man hasn't even been elected and is acting more mayoral than Adams.

That's exactly the point. The community feels safe, and safest when they're doing things in public together. Adams and Cuomo are fixated on scaring people into believing the city isn't safe enough. Mamdani burst that blowhard bubble with a single pin and a bag of potato chips.
