Missed the first 4? drives. Seems like Q run from Mateer + tackling + execution issues. Wink I think is going to more 1-high but need to see the creepers that close those B-gaps they’re trying to hit in the run game and make the numbers work in their screen game. Don’t think Mateer can shred C3.

Burke has almost 100 yards. Finding holes and repeatedly getting open. That’s really it, Michigan is doing pretty well otherwise.

Yeah, as a Burks fantasy holder I'm happy he's making it work out there but it is infuriating as a UM fan to see him consistently get open when otherwise the UM defense has held up.

On O I expected the OL to look kinda bad based on the general respect for OU’s front 7. But they’re making us eat pressure from everywhere and we haven’t been able to PAP our way to explosives. Need some Q run just to get some freebies but doubt it can be read run. Can the OL protect at all?

The one point that’s been made to me so far asking others what I missed this game that seems like it’s cropping up more and more under Sherrone is attention to detail.

We need to Q run and get some downfield stuff via PA or straight drop back or we might as well kneel this one out. We are absolutely in a submission hold on offense.

They've actually gotten some good chunks on PAP just haven't done it enough yet. The one when bryce was under immediate pressure from two guys and still got an accurate throw out was eye opening.

Yeah that was very Venables my first thought was “…how late did he get that sign in”. But I’m not super suspicious having watched more. He’s doing it a ton and getting us a lot but you’re right there’s some chunks there for UM too.

BRAK AND BLUE @yinkadoubledare.bsky.social

They are so dogmatic about not running the QB and sure, you are going to lose if Davis has to play, but you are going to lose calling the game you are now too. *herman edwards voice* play to win the game!

I think there's some worry about winning games 3 to 12 if Bryce gets too blown up tonight.

I'm not sure Michigan is that invested in this game in the grand scheme of things; the offensive playcall certainly doesn't seem particularly tuned to beat the Sooners and their tendencies. Venables is a good defensive coach but UM could be doing more to attack them with Underwood.

Would like them to see them move the pocket too, like they did on that Goodwin chunk play

They got two deep shots to Burkes. One looked like the S couldn’t get there in time and the other he just got behind the CB. Couldn’t see how on the broadcast.
