That’s cuz we need trains, which auto industry killed off after WWII. @governor.ca.gov has it right. We can’t build our way out.
It’s called induced demand. The faster you build roads, the faster they fill up!

A state rep over in WA did an opinion piece for a paper near Portland a few weeks ago. "We can build our way out of congestion." Omfg. And this guy helps control the budget. #saveus
