I DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP. REPUBLICAN COMMISSIONERS ON THE NYC BOARD OF ELECTIONS ARE TRYING TO STOP THE THREE PROPOSALS TO MAKE 100% AFFORDABLE HOUSING EASIER TO BUILD BECAUSE THEY KNOW VOTERS WILL PASS IT. PLEASE HELP.

I think this is more that NEC Regional stops more than the Acela, hence why it's slower.

Boston students can lose up to two weeks of learning time due to being stuck in traffic. Now, as one of 50 finalists in the Bloomberg Philanthropies Mayors Challenge, the city is piloting a new solution: using AI to give buses priority green lights, and get students to school on time.

So much housing and development in my neighborhood that the queens bus network redesign rerouted two buses a block away from my apartment. It’s good to match transit with evolving development patterns!
Hayden Clarkin (@thetransitguy.com)
Everyone upset the Acela runs as slow as Japan’s 1970s trains: Amtrak had a plan 15 years ago to straighten tracks in CT & RI. A few thousand wealthy locals killed it, costing us 25 minutes in time savings between Boston and NYC.
