We could’ve always stopped him. We had the ability to stop him on January 7 to throw him in jail to arrest the Congress people who facilitated the attempted overthrow of our government, but Merrick Garland look the other way took months and months and months to facilitate a response that was lame

Reminder that Garland wasn’t AG on January 7, 2021, he subsequently obtained the convictions of hundreds of insurrectionists, and indicted Trump. Trump likely would have been convicted before the 2024 election but for Judge Canon and the Supreme Court.

On January 7, 2021, the president was Trump, the AG was still an acting AG after Barr resigned. We had a bipartisan congress pissed on 1/7/21 knowing Trump masterminded the fake electors scheme & attack. We had a senate on 2/13/2021 say impeachment wasn’t necessary because he was out of office.
