Who is that second to last character? I recognized everyone besides her
The one sitting at the end of the video? Therese, the one who enters through the door is Kitt
Ohhh, okay. I was wondering if it was Peltha but that wouldn't make sense. I didn't know she had a similar hairstyle with the circle thing on top
Peltha is like, hundreds and hundreds of years into the future, kek, and Therese does sometimes have the circle bun yeah (Also Peltha is much more skinny and has tattoos)
That was amazing. I'm still laughing! 🤭
American with an electric kettle, gotta admit they're pretty great
Original audio by @/puppercupo on tiktok
I’m pretty sure the dialogue from this originated on tumblr
yup, but the audio/read over is from there as far as I've checked
As in the script, like they’re reading through a tumblr thread
hehehehehehehe
Great work! 🔥
I've heard the reason for the tea prep difference is that Americans only have half the voltage of electricity running through their homes that Europeans do. So electric stoves and kettles are used for tea less in the states because it takes longer to boil. No clue if it's the entire story though.
Tea is just less popular than coffee in general in the U.S. Most people I know have a dedicated coffee maker but don’t have an electric kettle.
which is technically just an electric kettle that pumps the hot water into another vessel. Europeans can only dream of a kettle that makes the drink you want instead of just hot water /s
If it was true Canadians wouldn't have electric kettles.
I mean I'm a Canadian who uses an electric kettle and it definitely takes a few minutes to heat up.
My point is that we Canadians use electric kettles the time it takes isn't really an issue.
I appreciate the character that burst in at the end with the kettle clutch
I love this
Such a good version of this bit!
and they didnt even touched upon the subject of an electric kettle
that's not a kettle, that's a teapot. wait that's part of the joke right?
I felt the "DO NONE OF YOU OWN A FUCKING KETTLE?!" at the end in my soul. Speaking of... [puts the kettle on to make another cup of tea]
Amazing xD
I find it pretty stupid to boil tea in a kettle, like why use such a big thing just to boil a cup of water?? it's so much more efficient to just boil one cup after another than measure one cup in a kettle each time /j
