Modrinth yes, currently it's only for Fabric 1.20.1 (and requires GeckoLib). I don't see myself updating it beyond 1.20.1 unless there's some major feature I like that's been added (that I can't just backport). The license im not sure, we'll see.

yes, nothing released, but I do plan on a release. Originally started in 2024 just to add few decorative blocks (I had 0 coding knowledge back then), but been working on and off on it since then, it now has deco blocks, custom NPCs with speech bubbles, a quest system, custom items, and much more

the worst outcome of that is sometimes you see a light coming and because of how bright it is, you can't tell what the object is, is it a motorcycle or a car? People where I live don't bother to repair their headlights and only have one, so I can't tell if it's a car or a motorcycle
The extra visibility is nice, modern LEDs are much better than old headlights (when I said yellow I mostly meant the colour, not the light component itself). The problem is simply how bright they are from the getgo
I can go on an endless rant on SUVs and how unnecessary they are, I have a special place of hatred for them lmao. Get a wagon or a van, you don't need an SUV. Going off road? get an actual off roader.
the problem isn't that cars use LEDs, they're way more efficient than bulbs and I'm all for using LEDs, the problem is the brightness, not the actual component used. (also LEDs generally last longer, which is always good)
there are warm white LEDs that are super nice, those I can get behind. I'm mostly talking about those horrible blueish white LEDs. in general though even yellow lights can be annoying if they're too bright
i have astigmatism and white lights are the worst offender, bright white headlights just flashbang my peripherals to the point I am legit blind. Some of the idiots on the road don't turn off their brights either so it makes it even worse
every fucking time a modern car shows up at night it's like a nuclear bomb flashing with the power of a million suns scorching the eyes out of existence
i hate how bright car headlights have become, TURN OFF YOUR FUCKING BRIGHTS AT LEAST!! and this may be a hot take but warm/orange headlights are nicer than white and i will die on this hill
also I do the daily art challenge mainly for myself, I want to see how far I can take it while still enjoying/making stuff I consider of quality. I can always just repost old stuff on bsky if I took a break to keep the "daily posting" streak a thing lmao
I appreciate that! but dw I def will take breaks if need be, I still have a lot of energy for drawing, the only thing is that I want to do more storytelling pieces but those take a bit more effort (simply due to backgrounds), so this was a good balance NOT to burn out by rotating what I draw!
Because I want to keep my daily streak for drawing, while still wanting to do storytelling pieces more, the plan is to draw the usual lovey dovey on days I'm busy/tired(as those are easier), and a storytelling piece on days I'm less so So you can expect both lesbiab art and lore/story/world art

A brush I made, basically it paints the texture and I use transform tool to apply it. As for the lighting on it, it's done by copying it and slightly moving it, giving it a different bright colour
