Is it possible some connected a hose to a tap and let it run for 3-4 days? Were you gone when the "leak" happened? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Any swimming pools close by?

Don't think there is a single swimming pool in our entire neighborhood. Hot tubs are the only thing that will fit in the yards. They didn't plan for swimming pools 120+ years ago.

I think our outdoor water was already shut off for winter when the leak happened. We also only have one outdoor hose connection. The leak was somewhere five feet under the sidewalk I am guessing.
