Mince pies, tho!
Yeah....we've kinda come to an agreement that they should be an all year round thing and stripped of all stupid Christmassy nonsense.
Little snowflakes on top tho!
NO. You have to choose..... - All year round mince pies with plain tops - Xmas only mince pies with snowflake, star or pine tree shape toppings YOU CANNOT HAVE BOTH!
I’ll bake my own.
Whatever floats your three ships that came sailing in, on Christmas day in the morning.
Correct - you can buy mince pies throughout the year without needing to indulge in ridiculous unseasonal promo. I believe a certain Mr Kipling bloke bakes exceedingly below par mince pies all year round…🤷🏻♀️
It may seem harsh, but these shops need to learn the lesson of this crass commercialism out of season…
Burnt plastic on the Christmas pud instead of gently flaming brandy is unorthodox....but entirely justified in September!
I'm already on my second box of their iced mince pies. I could watch those buggers all year round tbh.
Eat, not watch. Bloody autocarrot 😬
Year round mince pies without the Christmassy marketing and shite....I'm good with that! You SHALL have all year mince pies!
make them plate sized without sugar coating, top with lemon tahini and fresh herbs.. slices to serve ..year round 😋
I'm all for getting back to their middle eastern origins. Spiced fruit/meat pies....lemon tahini, yoghurt, herbs. Of course we can do some non-meat ones too.
😋👍
Bastilla 😋 now i will have to makr one this weekend (chicken or quorn mince only tho)
Me too! I'll make them if they're out of season... Clotted cream on the side.
Now....I'm here for a warm mince pie with some clotted cream. 😋
It's an essential part of a balanced diet.
I think their strategy is getting people to buy early to ‘put away’ then they eat them so need to buy more, on a loop til 24.12.25.
I guess.....I can see @frmo.bsky.social eating minces pies from now until Christmas.
Not long now.
Our local shop,a One Stop, has had tree chocolates & candy canes for sale since the last week of July. & mince pies. Yes,I bought some,& ate the bleeding lot.
