You *absolutely* have a career in journalism ahead of you. As a high school student, if you are already at this level of tenacity and drive, you have only upwards to go. I know there are other recommendations I can give you when I think of them- reply to me so I can keep this on hand, and I will.

ABSOLUTELY. I first got into theatre 30 years ago by just emailing my resume out to every theatre company in town. The only experience I had was in my high school drama club. That's *not* the way to get in to the industry, but I got a call, and 30 years later, I'm still in the field. GO FOR IT!
