Wait why is NY at moderate risk? Maybe I’m out of the loop but I haven’t heard of any legislation in the works that has a chance of passing?

Erin Reed doesn't like the vibes of NY, basically. Like, this map has only a passing resemblance to actual trans-rights protections, as shown by them taking NY, where the right to transition is written into the state Constitution, and declaring it "moderate risk".

I think that is worth tracking but it does not feel proper to include that in a map of "legal risk". I also strongly dispute her definition of "worst laws passed" on the national level, because (among other things) EOs aren't laws, and actual anti-trans laws would be much worse than the EOs!
