Pigs in blankets, obvs. Seriously, stick a spicy sauce on it and give it a fancy Spanish name and everybody would be falling over them all year round. You can make jumbo versions with regular sausages and a pack of streaky, you know...
And if that's too much effort, a bag of Frazzles has more or less the same flavour notes. Serve with a chilled bottle of Panda Pops.
pork scratchings also, not entirely british but a yorkshire pud filled with sauteed mushrooms (optional bacon) and melted cheddar is lovely
Small yorkshire puddings? Haggis on crisps? Chips with dipping sauces (Tomato ketchup, brown sauce, curry sauce)?

Mini toad-in-the-hole
Pineapple and cheese on sticks. If you want a certain flair and peak style, wrap a potato in foil and stab them in to make a hedgehog
Anything Indian. It’s a staple of most Brits. (Unless you’re one of those flag sh*ggers)
Absolutely not 😂😂
Yikes! I wasn’t suggesting you or “TB” are flag botherers. Merely that they probably don’t like Indian food. I’m sure you are not.
Oh I know 😂
