Well, even if he were dead, and I sincerely hope he is, it doesn't change anything substantially. The whole MAGA ecosystem is still in place. Vance will serve as a more than useful idiot for project 2025, which will continue unabated.

Definitely would be the head off the snake, but the coming apart won't happen immediately. The behind the scenes power brokers will try to coalesce around someone, there is too much money and power at stake. Although it's likely that no one will have the cult-leader hold that Trump did.
