Book 21- Last Call at the Local by Sarah Grunder Ruiz. Sweet, cozy romance set in Ireland.
Book 21- Last Call at the Local by Sarah Grunder Ruiz. Sweet, cozy romance set in Ireland.
Book 22- The Between by Tananarive Due. Not at all what I expected since it was billed as a horror novel. Interesting concept and incredibly written. Definitely recommend.
Books 23 and- This Poison Heart and This Wicked Fate both by Kalynn Bayron. Interesting premise and I enjoyed the character but the pacing, especially in the second book, was inconsistent. The conclusion was a let down.
Book 25- Deep End by Ali Hazelwood. I continue to love Hazelwood's writing and characters.
Book 26- The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. I loved this book so much. I really didn't expect to like it so I avoided reading it for years. I was so wrong. Highly recommend.
Book 27- The Body in the Backyard by Lucy Score. Another fun mystery featuring the psychic Riley Thorne. Perfect for fans of madcap mysteries.
Book 28- The Bletchley Riddle by Ruta Sepetys. Super fun middle grade mystery/adventure.
Books 29, 30, 31- Her Unexpected Roommate, Pregnant by the Playboy, and Bidding for the Bachelor all by Jackie Lau. Lau is one of my favorite romance authors and none of these disappointed. Highly recommend checking this author out if you haven't yet.
Book 32- Sitting Pretty by Rebekah Taussig. Ableism and disability rights have long been an interest for me so I didn't find much eye-opening for myself, but it's definitely a book I think everyone should read to understand what daily life for a disabled person can be like. 1/2
Book 32 cont- I enjoyed the stories the author told about the disability awareness courses she taught and student reactions most. This book is so timely right now since so much disability funding and disability rights are in danger. I think this would be a great book to be taught in schools. 2/2
Book 33- Vera Wong's Guide to Snooping [On a Dead Man] by Jesse Q. Sutanto- Another fun, cozy mystery by Sutanto.
