Because if you keep taking stuff that is harmless and not antisemitic at its core and crying that it’s antisemitic, people are going to start ignoring real antisemitism. And that right there is a problem, especially in today’s world where antisemitism is on the rise.

I’ll add that comparing jokes about PS to anti-semites spreading lies about Soros is weak AF. The Soros BS is motivated by antisemitism. The Pete stuff stems from his autobiography where he brags about making bands. Intent matters. Chop would’ve made the same joke if Shapiro’s last name was Smith.
I didn't even think chop was making a joke about Shapiro? he was defending the idea that they're not antisemitic by nature, but alao acknowledged that they can veer into that territory. you don't seem to think people ever have that intent which seems generous
