That's rich. NDP were in power 4 years versus how many (60?) years for UCP/Conservatives? Also, NDP never proposed eliminating the polluter-pay principle. So, yeh, this is all on UCP.
I would say that this is more of an issue of capitalism than it has anything to do with bipartisan electoral politics. When laws and regulations threaten profit growth they will be thrown aside by whoever is in power to ensure the continued profit of corporations.
