I think that is difficult because so many people thought the atrocities were only under Trump and therefore because of Trump. Trump is not the cause; he’s a symptom. But many people believe he’s the cause.

We had such a hard time when we were POINTING to Project 2025 and said “this is their playbook,” and NOBODY took it seriously. I haven’t seen a COLLECTIVE admission that crap, we were wrong, actually y’all were right. Whether “we” is a community, a newspaper, a tv “news” show, Joe Rogan, whatever.
I’m not sure how to get the message across. I think it needs to be done by specific example first and then generalizing. Like ok what happens next week? Is the national guard leaving DC and LA? I don’t see Vance doing that. Maybe they don’t go to Chicago or Boston…
Florida concentration camp is already emptying out. To where? What about our regular prisons? All the Jan 6 rioters who were pardoned are still pardoned. We still don’t have the Epstein files. Trans kids and adults still have tons of legislation around IDs, bathrooms, sports.
The FDA and CDC are still a mess. Everything is still understaffed from the national parks to NOAA. Do the confederate monuments they put up, come down again? AND we STILL need to hold our Democratic reps accountable. They confirmed all those cabinet positions.
This is a huuuuge generalization on my part but: I’m seeing the less oppressed people in my feed saying they’ve lined up “ding dong the witch is dead” but not one of the justice seekers, abolitionists, Black activists I follow lining up A Brand New Day. Because they know it won’t be one.
Yep yep yep & still an ongoing covid pandemic, where Biden kicked off the vax & relax euginics propaganda.
