What you're calling a purity test I call you announcing that your only principle is saving your own skin. Fear is no excuse to panic our way into sub-optimal resistance. We have years to find a good candidate, a strong candidate that will actually fight for us, all of us. Newsom isn't that guy.

We have time to do so & more importantly we have a responsibility as adults capable of reason to resist in the most effective manner possible. And that requires forethought in who we support. Panic will get more than just you dead.
