youtube already very obviously hates everyone who uses its platform & what I needed wasn't creators to hop in and let me know they hate me too. I'm sure that's not the intent, but it makes it maddening to navigate in a coherent manner.
It's literally a method to trick people who weren't interested in a video into clicking on it by making it look like a new video. And i'm sorry but i'm against dark patterns, even when creators I like use them.
Yeah. I'm sure it's better in click through rates or whatever, but it's adding additional slop to an already sloppy as hell interface as a user.
