Fuck the PGA. I could live the rest of my life happily and never watch another PGA Event again. Golf courses are also a huge waste of space and resources on an elitist and racist game.

It requires large fields of landscaped grass. It's a huge privilege to even have the land, and often it's just taken from poor people. The fact that there are any golf courses within city limits is disgusting and elitist (and I shouldn't have to tell you how that relates to whiteness)

I live in an area where they’re building a new golf course. Bought out several farms and little old ladies. It’s a horrid depressed area, and people swear it’s gonna bring great jobs 🙄

Our muni golf course allows young people who couldn't possibly afford to join the outlying private clubs a chance to play. Been there for decades, & you might be surprised who signs up for classes. Its also built on a flood plane, so not land useful for housing.
