I was having a conversation about what I do for a living and when asked what the worst part of my job is I was thinking about it and considered "guys who think they know everything and wont' listen to reason", or "people who know nothing and panic over clicking on a text box"...
... and then there's "I run a BUSINESS on my RESIDENTIAL ACCOUNT and I DEMAND a technician onsite IMMEDIATELY because I am losing TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS EVERY HOUR I'm NOT ABLE TO LOG INTO FACEBOOK" except it's because they reset their router...
But the actual worst thing about my job... the thing that just makes everything suck and keeps me awake at night: Seeing Production Orders from law enforcement agencies. It's never for a *good* reason and it always means something terrible has happened, is happening, or may happen.
(And by never a *good* reasons I mean they don't request access to that information because they want to give someone the "Hugs Puppies the Best" award. There's nothing about that process that involves no one being harmed in some way. It's just terrible and I hate it so, so, so much.)
