By the time of the midterm election there is going to be several hundred lawsuits over the flood in Kerrville. The first one was filed this week. Suing an RV Park. But I suspect the state and Kerr County will ultimately be among the sued as well.

And Kerr County probably just hires a guy from a firm in San Antonio to be there part time County Attorney.

Yes sir I saw that. I expected lawsuits when they had those hearings at special session. Have you heard any estimates tossed around for how many families are preparing to file? Just curious.

Tort caps in Texas will greatly limit recoveries. The atty suing now, Jon Clark, is a good lawyer. I expect Jon will swing for the fences, as he should.
