It's also a fascist dictatorship with secret police and no guaranteed due process. So, there's that. But even beyond that, as a self-employed individual, I pay FAR LESS tax than I would in San Francisco.
Interesting. Mexico is a federal republic, not a fascist dictatorship. I think people should be able to live wherever they want, but that viewpoint doesn’t sync with the current geopolitical reality.
I was talking about the US, which is south of Canada, which is thought you meant. The US is a fascist dictatorship. From what I understand, Mexico can be fine in a bunch of places, but certainly has a random-armed-people prone to murder ratio that is much higher than I am comfortable with.
In Canada, we actually get things in return for paying our taxes.
