apparently those are possibly "bobbin legs" which seems entirely apt for a sewing table
It's a style. It looks like the legs are made quite robustly. It's 3 parts fitted together. Mind if I pass the image on to my brother who might be able to get my dad to comment?
Absolutely yes - all input welcome. I am curious about it. I should have asked more at the time but I made the classic mistake of assuming I had more time It has a very robust feel to everything except that basket. For clarification the top opens by rotating half the lid sideways in either direction
