I thought they needed the VERY large parrot cage size and I didn't have a place (or ability) to have one of those at the time I was looking into pets. I ended up with gerbils. At least Ireland doesn't often get that warm.....

Why chinchillas? (I would have had a pet chinchilla but I couldn't find a place to keep it in the house where it would have a large enough enclosure and not having an enclosure was not recommended)

True - though non toxic to kids doesn't always mean non toxic to dogs... But for the same reason, since pets and kids often coexist, it's probably reasonable to assume they should be non toxic to pets in a similar way....

I forgive leaving headphones in (or on) when interacting as long as I'm not hearing sounds from them. I use them to cut down on surrounding noise sometimes and it can help me focus on what people are actually saying to me. But good god, why do people play music and videos so that I can hear them??

I don't entirely believe those actually act like period cramps. When I use tens machine type things above a certain point all I really FEEL is a zapping sensation because of imperfect connections to my skin. And those HURT. But the actual muscle twitches are just muscle twitches.

I'm going with need. Random is somehow cruel and merit assumes a judge over the art which can be horribly biased. While need is not great either because how much need is need, it doesn't judge the art and isn't... well.. luck or fate. Enough about success is luck.
