I am fascinated by two places which seem utterly unrelated. Newtwpothouse on the N20 road between Mallow and Buttevant, and the two-pot river near Curraheen in Cork city. They are about 44km apart. The town is *supposed* to have got its name from an Inn with two large pots by the door.. (There was an old inn and a new inn). So I asked google about the river name, hoping someone had discussed it somewhere - it's hard to keep discussions of the house version out. So I asked
