Wow. Apple has gone to great lengths to do it wrong… Apple’s worst asset was Jobs. He was great at figuring out how to use a technology. But, he had to be in total control of user access to the technology. And, he was often wrong…
BTW, iPad was developed first. Jobs hired Alan Kay as an Apple Fellow. Kay created the DynaBook. iPad is a dumbed-down DynaBook. All iPod and iPhone development was done on iPad, with parameters changed for screen size, memory capacity, radio/no radio, etc. I worked with Kay for a year.

Mk, you are awesome. 🖤
I watched the full video and it was very informative. That's not the sort of perspective I necessarily understand because I didn't grow up with phones. I don't know about IOS, but Android has a classic file manager I wonder how many people use them instead of the photo gallery/media gallery apps.
Thank you for posting the full video. I needed the closed captions for viewing in public. It's getting to the point in this country where a man can't watch wholesome file system videos in public without glares from people around you.
I wonder how Jobs got it into his head that people thought the very idea of a _file_ was too complicated to tell them about?
