UPDATE: Pretty good but yet another way for Americans to have dessert for breakfast. A deeply unserious country.
Now dip it in coddle!
We are #1 in obesity for a reason! PSST... I just would like a proper fry.. everyday!
I mean the sugar-pilled Americans that it is aimed at, and sold to extra.ie/2025/07/16/o...
“We are so mad about this thing - that we made and decided to sell! How dare people buy it!” I mean those sound like deeply unserious people.
For a second I forgot that the internet could be used for fun, thank you for reminding me of how deadly serious everything on the internet needs to be.
Bluesky has both the butter, and the juice.
I could've sworn I've seen plain ol' Kerrygold here in Tokyo, but I must be mistaken. Likely one of the NZ brands. The Ornua Asia website says Kerrygold's only in China, S'pore, Malaysia & South Korea. But I've no doubt the Japanese would love this spread. No savory bagels here. Just odd sweet ones.
We are a deeply unserious country for many worse reasons, but this is up there.
Poxy dump so up it’s own hole it would be funny if it wasn’t so fucking tragic.
My guess is that this is geared strictly for the American market; it’s not being sold in Ireland, is it?
Yeah it's American only from what I've seen.
Whew. I can only imagine that if it were it would be greeted by a chorus of “What the fuck is this?“
Never seen that product in Ireland. And I can't think of a use for it if I did
I can’t think of a use for it either!
Children could use it as a prank - fake diarrhoea
There are a lot of Americans who would probably unwrap that stick of butter and lick it like a lollipop. This product seems deeply unnecessary. I grew up eating cinnamon toast. You butter your toast, you sprinkle a little cinnamon on it, and then you sprinkle a little sugar on it. That’s it!
Chuck: If you were an American kid during the 1960s or early '70s, you may have sprinkled your toast--or oatmeal, cream of wheat, Malt-O-Meal, pancakes or whatever--with Domino's premixed Sugar 'n' Cinnamon blend. At least on the East Coast, where Domino had/has plants in Brooklyn & Baltimore.
Oh, Mom used to get little spice jars of cinnamon sugar. I think they came from McCormack or something like that. We didn’t get fancy jars like that though! Seemingly mostly for toast though — we were never a hot cereal household.
My paternal uncle worked at Domino's Baltimore plant, so it was a given we'd use their Sugar 'n' Cinnamon. McCormick's HQ is just north of B'more. In 1990, it bought Old Bay from the Baltimore Spice Co., whose plant was on the Inner Harbor waterfront, permeating downtown w/ the aroma of spice.
He who controls the spice controls the Universe!
Our bread is basically cake already. This is basically frosting.
See now THAT is a way to sell it to me
American "bread":
Precisely.
You know what, at this point we got to take our little bit of joy wherever we can find it 😭
My only thought: why fuck around with this 'butter' when I could just go to Cinnabon
Apparently it's a Normal Thing over here 👀
There’s a LOT of Normal Things here that I absolutely refuse to participate in, acknowledge existence of or condone in any way, shape or form. Like beer pong. What the giddy fuck is that all about. Peanut butter can get fucked all the way to Pluto. Yank bread. Just no. It’s a war crime.
Eww, don't do it! I take back my like!
My eyes are bleeding. It's not as bad as coddle... but close.
That’s a nope from me. Some things should not be messed with.
Baby poop?
