It's rare that I wish for someone's job to go away, but normalizing profit from illness & pain is a direct invitation to escalate to profiting from death in refusing care. Health insurance is a crime against humanity & an indictment of how far we've allowed commodification to go off the rails.
Indeed. Also built upon a lie: that govt somehow doesn't have the money to afford it, but somehow the private user of the same money the govt issues by spending can afford it. A lot of people were born long after this started in the 70s/80s so they think it's normal and a mere political problem.
