I totally get that. I mean, I completely completely get that. And that's fine. I'm just saying that based on Oli London, there is no getting a white face to ever look like a Korean....

No. And the longer I'm here the more I can tell the difference between Korean and even Japanese or Chinese (especially actors - the people casting dramas have defined looks they go for).
As long as you mean bc of style or bearing, or something other than by facial features I can believe you lol otherwise, color me majorly doubtful… alllooksame.com/app/quiz.php...
Style, haircuts, ect... yes. It's not body types or face types. Although hairstyles are a big one in the dramas.
👍 Once I was scrolling through Asian drama thumbnails at lighting speed and calling out the country. On one, I called “Thai” clicked the synopsis and my friend was like, “it’s Thai but the actor’s Japanese!” And I was like…. I’m not calling out their ethnicity, you dork, I just know the aesthetics!
Yup! That's exactly how it goes. The Looks are different (fashion, lighting, styling).
So true! Composition and coloring is tell tale too. But the easiest tell is haircuts like you said 😂 or maybe school uniforms haha I thought you were referring to this kind of thing since you mentioned actors, but wanted to clear it up for sure. Plus I love a chance to share that website lol
I have better than 50% accuracy, but it's hard! In person it's easier simply because of clothing and how they handle the train. Locals know it, visitors don't.
