she didn't have to recognize Palestine. She could have just made stopping the genocide part of her campaign.

Forcing Israel to capitulate to Hamas demands would reward Hamas and signal that their hostage-taking strategy was viable, and should be repeated in the future. The objection you had against her was that she refused to demand that Israel ceasefire while not making any demands of Hamas.

Rofl? What a silly assertion from a bunch of silly people First of all get out of Gaza and the West Bank, you're just invaders? Murdering and killing innocent people by carpet bombing densely populated communities and neighborhoods is hardly moral. #ethniccleansing #ICC #ICJ #genocide

Given enough time to test messaging, maybe…but I don’t think she had that time. And as the current VP she had less freedom than other candidates might have. She was responsible for not undermining whatever diplomacy Biden’s team was undertaking at the time.

That's why, given widespread dissatisfaction with Biden, she was a poor candidate (and I understand the lack of time to pick someone else). People are always blaming leftists, or the media, or whatever, but by running Biden the Democratic Party put Trump in office. They just booted it.
