She planned to significantly increase taxes on the rich, though not to historically high levels. Then had a meeting with her donors and cut the increase, in half, IIRC. In Gaza, donors and the left were opposed. She picked the donors. Things like diversity donors didn't oppose. They were included
I think you might be surprised how many people would really love a truly progressive tax plan. Other left issues are toxic to conservatives, but he doesn't need them all to get the left votes. Harris focused on left issues that billionaires don't oppose, but conservatives don't support.
