It's a direct result of foul voters following your redirecting process like it's required or like it should be a generally acceptable voting principle to get more players into the HOF. It's real simple, some players are obvious 1st ballot HOFers (they always seem to get in on 1st ballot also🤔),
some players don't get in on the 1st eleigible ballot year, and it takes them a few years of voting. Some players get in very late like last year or 2, and some don't ever get in. If you have to take a vote from a lock to vote in a guy on the cusp/last yr or 2, arguably maybe shouldn't be in at all?
