I never actually gave you a direct answer. Yes, you definitely should watch Game of Thrones. I highly recommend GoT. It is one of my favorite shows of all time. By the way, I feel exactly the same way about The Office🤣

I've disabled it on anything that has it. I tyop plenty, and if I'm in a hurry forget to edit. But when reading I'd rather see honest errors that tend to stick out than autocorrections that are grammatical and properly spelled, but wrong. :/

The books are better than the show. The first 6 seasons of GoT followed the books closely. But the author never finished the series, so the TV show had to make up crap for the last 2 seasons.

Just watch the first five or six seasons, and then make up your own story after that. Those seasons are epic. The last seasons are 💩💩💩.

The first few seasons of GoT are truly some of the best TV ever made. I like to call the last 2 GoT seasons "The Dragons and Zombies Show"🤣

The books sucked like hell.

Now those are fighting words🤣 The first 3 GoT books were great. p.s. I have to admit I got bored and never finished the last GoT book.

It was so bad, I had to skip ahead to the last chapter. And Martin did everyone a favor by not finishing “Winds of Winter.” It was going to be a tremendous pile of crap that teenage nerds bought greedily. He spared us a spectacle of discernment bereftness. I gave my GOT books to the library.

Is the last chapter of the last GoT book worth reading?

Barely! It’s that thing where Cersei is paraded through the street naked and a woman ringing a bell cries “Shame!” Mildly entertaining. And Benioff and Weiss sloppily cobbled together every single following thing in the TV show. Because Martin is a lazy ripoff.

Is the US in season 8

The U.S. is in the part of the story where the show runner inexplicably ruins the whole plot, and the fans start regretting that they watched a single second of this mess.

Oh so like in the princess bride?

I’m afraid I did not see that fine movie. The book was a massive best seller, top of the New York Times, so I did not read it. I didn’t even see Willy Wonka, and I’m a big Gene Wilder fan.

The princess bride book was even better than the movie, which was phenomenal

Then I will have to have a look at both. Better late than never.

Benioff and Weiss trashed it, George Martin abandoned it. Now it’s just a monument to Hollywood Greed. It’s Ozymandias, a pair of gigantic stone feet standing alone in the wilderness. Martin was just P.T. Barnum all along, he’s a Humbug.
