That IS interesting. Thanks for the post and images. Makes sense that the S configuration facilitates striking power, similar to some snakes that S their body before striking prey.
Oh yes, that's interesting comparison. There's a extra long vertebrae in the GBH neck which rotates around (like a spear thrower) to create much of the power. You see it as the angular corner in the S neck when it is "parked"
