The flooding devastation in Texas is a preview for every American of life without Federal help. We have no safeguards any longer. They were gutted by Trump. Don't blame the messenger who didn't have the resources to give you the message.

Texas is a Red State-they will definitely get FEMA help as long as the monies are still available. It’s the Blue States that Trump despises that won’t see any FEMA monies. Money will run dry pretty soon-especially after ALL the tornadoes hitting Red States who require help. Hurricanes-best of luck!

Don’t be so sure of that. Trump got what he wanted out of them and is perfectly willing to throw them away. Just follow his past actions to see how they played out.

His past actions all point to Red States being rewarded and Blue States coming under attack. Case in point: ICE raids… blue States targeted especially sanctuary cities in particular. Trump must still keep MAGA happy- helping Texas does that!

ICE raids are definitely going on here in Texas too. Texas farmers are losing their farms because they have no workers. I'm in Lubbock, TX and have seen several ICE raids in this city.

So far, they’ve only provided resources for search and rescue/recovery of people. Economic recovery (rebuilding, moving out of floodplains, remapping of floodplains to reflect changes in rainfall events) is not guaranteed.
