my plan is to not let the government know literally every little thing i ever do on the internet. and not put my privacy at risk by letting random corporations store my personal info the solution to protecting kids is for their parents to do their fucking job and protect their kids!

What about kids in the system? Or kids with crap parents? Do we only care about nice middle class kids?

My entire point was.... This isn't a perfect solution. However fixing it is more productive than repealing it and doing nothing. Lobby for improvement.

okay fair ig how do you fix this? most software companies are not equipped with the right people/skills (or even the interest) to do this verification right! it will end in a massive disaster. also internet by design is built in such a way that you can't just block stuff like this
